Friday evening: We assembled for dinner at the Inn, where Jim Beachy's weather phone revealed the remnants of Ivan approaching. So, we decided to decide what to do at breakfast. While light rain had reached us before bedtime, Ivan intensified during the night and left us with a horrible option on Saturday: We had to modify our mode of transportation. So, we used the 'extended fairing' vehicles and set out on a tour of 'The Flooded Bridges of Lancaster County'. Despite the weather, we all had a good time. I'll be re-working the route for a tour in a few years which will build on what we did and will add some additional time for afternoon recreation at the shops during the afternoon of the tour.
Here are some pictures:

A boat tour was needed for 3 Mile Island, while canoes were used elsewhere

Flooded Bridge #1 At least the water didn't get this high!

We assembled and walked through and decided to alter the route

View from the top was good..... but the farm was flooded!

There were some bikes later One of the longest bridges

One of the highlights was the rooster barn and countryside mural

Dinner after a day of touring & shopping. Can't decide which beer? No problem!

Ah, the benefits of staying over
on Sunday! More good roads & bridges!
